A lovely welcome by both staff and customers. Small but perfectly formed. No music, no TV, no gaming machines, just people chatting, perfect! And they serve cocktails!

First visit here for pre Christmas drinks with a group of friends. It’s a really friendly, cosy local bar with a small but very good choice of beer. I’m reliably informed their cocktails were good too, though I stuck to their beers.
Staff are very welcoming and have a great sense of humour.
Booking a table, as we did, is definitely recommended for weekend evenings.
We’ll definitely be returning.

We were the first through the doors when it opened for indoor drinking, and sampled some of the 3 craft keg and 2 local cask beers which were excellent Being a wet Friday afternoon it was quietish, but were impressed by 3 blokes who made it their first stop on a pub crawl and experienced some difficulty in leaving. There are also a wide range of canned beers, plus cocktails made from craft gin. It was much busier in the evening and looks like being a valued asset to the village. It's interior and warm down to earth welcome from the owner Kath complete the experience.
